Hi Porpoises,

We've reached July, which in the world of summer swim team means we have only a few busy weeks left of the season. This email is to provide an overview of the rest of the season, and includes important dates and deadlines.

No Practices July 4th:
There will be NO practices tomorrow, July 4th, due to the holiday.

TSA Championship:
The TSA Championship meet will be held on Sunday, July 20th. Please see your email for more details. If your child will participate, please fill out the form by Monday, July 7th at midnight. Payment is due by noon on Wednesday, July 9th. https://forms.gle/x5JBESU7VPqY9dnU9

July 8th Home Meet vs. Eagle Ridge:
On Tuesday, July 8th, we will have our 5th dual meet of the season against Eagle Ridge. Please declare your swimmer by midnight on July 4th if you have not already done so. Our theme for this meet is Pirate Night - have fun dressing up and embracing the theme. Coach Helena is also organizing a food drive that night to benefit the "Feed the Kids" organization. See attached flyer for details.

Cary City Meet:
If you are participating in the Cary City Meet on Saturday, July 12th, I still need a couple of volunteers for the afternoon session. Sign up in Swimtopia by Wednesday, July 9th. More details on the meet will come out early next week!

End-of-Season Party: 

Our end-of-season party will be held on Thursday, July 24th at the clubhouse. If you have any interest in planning, please let April or me know! I'll send out an RSVP pretty soon so we have a better idea of how many will attend.

Volunteering Reminder: 
All families must earn four volunteer credits throughout the season to avoid the volunteer fee. Last I checked, there were still several volunteer positions open for the July 15th away meet. Positions worked at Cary City, TSA Champs, and the end of season party also count towards your volunteer requirements. Check your jobs/points for the season in SwimTopia, under "My Account" (top right dropdown).
