Park Village Porpoises Code of Conduct

The Park Village Porpoises Swim Team is committed to providing a safe, organized, inclusive, and positive environment in which swimmers can grow as athletes, teammates, and individuals. Participation on the team is a privilege, and all swimmers, parents/guardians, and guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that supports the safety, well-being, and success of the entire team community.

This Code of Conduct applies to all team-related activities, including practices, swim meets, volunteer responsibilities, social events, and any time a swimmer, parent/guardian, or guest is present at the pool or representing the Park Village Porpoises.

By registering for the Park Village Porpoises Swim Team, families acknowledge that they have reviewed this Code of Conduct and agree to comply with all expectations outlined below.

The Porpoise Pledge

The Park Village Porpoises will uphold this Code of Conduct by following our four Porpoise Pledge expectations:

  • Be Prepared – Arrive on time, ready to participate, attentive to instructions, and committed to giving your best effort.
  • Be a Good Teammate – Encourage others, contribute positively to team culture, and demonstrate integrity, responsibility, and accountability.

These expectations apply to all swimmers, parents/guardians, and guests throughout the season.
