The following email contains important information about the away meet at Glenridge on July 2nd.

Location and Parking Information:
The Glenridge pool is located at: 101 Autumngate Drive, Cary, NC 27518

The pool's parking lot is very small and limited. Please park along one side of Autumngate Drive and Copper Hill Drive as you enter the neighborhood. Cones will be marked to block off one side for emergency vehicles. If families can carpool, that would help with some of the parking shortage and the distance they would have to walk to the pool.

Facility:

• Visitors are encouraged to bring a folding chair(s) and/or a tent to the meeting, as there is limited seating.
• Park Village swimmers can set up on the right-hand side of the pool from entry gate.
• Glenridge has a 5 lane 25 Yard pool. They have lights so they can swim past dusk.
  • Glenridge swims in lanes 1, 3, and 5 for main events, with lane 1 being exhibition.
  • The visiting team swims in lanes 2 and 4 for main events.
  • Only 1st-4th place ribbons will be awarded for main events. 

Concessions:
Glenridge offers concessions where swimmers and families will be able to purchase pizza, drinks, candy, and snacks. This is located inside the clubhouse doors. CASH only please.

Swimmer Arrival & Check-In:
Park Village swimmers should arrive at 5 p.m. Please check-in as soon as you arrive. Any swimmer not checking in by 5:15 p.m. will be scratched. Coach Evan & I will both check our email at 5:15 p.m. before scratching anyone, so if you are running late, please let us know before 5:15 p.m. Warmups will begin promptly at 5:30. If your swimmer cannot attend for any reason, please email us as soon as possible so we can rearrange lane assignments and relays.

Volunteers:
If you are volunteering at this meet please check-in when you arrive. If you are unable to fulfill your volunteer commitment please email me as soon as possible so I can try to find another person to fill the role. There will be a pre-meet briefing/timer meeting at 5:40 p.m. at the front of the pool clubhouse. All timers, the order of finish judge, the stroke & turn judge, and the TSA rep should plan to attend.

Senior Night:
This is Glenridge’s last home meet of the season, and Tuesday is their senior night to honor their graduating seniors. They will have an alumni relay and will quickly honor their graduating seniors during this meet, likely between breaststroke & butterfly. Please instruct your children to be respectful while they honor their seniors - they have assured me it won’t take long. Thank you.
