Tuesday June 20 – AWAY Meet with Devereaux Devil Rays

What you need to know:

WEATHER: Please be aware of potential weather issues tomorrow. We will notify parents of any updates vis Swimtopia. If the meet is rescheduled, it will be Wednesday June 21.

Volunteer Roles Needed: Check the website to see what roles are open.

Pre – Meet Meeting at 5:45pm for Timers, Place Judges, Stroke and Turn Judge

Location and Parking Information

Address: 500 Wakehurst Drive, Cary, NC 27519.

• If you enter from Jenks Carpenter Road, the pool will be straight ahead.
• There is limited parking in the parking lot which is reserved for your team. There is street parking; however, it is only allowed on the pool side of the street. There will be no parking signs to indicate not to park on the opposite side of the street. Please do not park where you will block/restrict driveways.

Warmups

• Please arrive by 5pm to get checked in and set up - The pool will be available for PV warm up from 5:20p to 5:50p. This is a 25 Meter Pool, so the distance is longer than our Park Village Pool, so expect to see times in heat sheets adjusted for this distance.

Facility

• They have limited pool deck space. If tents and chairs are brought, they will need to be set-up outside of the gated pool area. There is very limited level, grassy space outside the pool area to set-up tents and chairs.
• PV swimmers can set-up on the entry side/under the shade canopy.

Timing

• Meet will be timed using Dolphin timing system (same as PV), and results will be uploaded live during the meet.

Concessions

• They offer concessions where swimmers and families will be able to purchase pizza, snacks, Gatorade, and water. Cash only. If possible, please bring small bills and change.

HEAT SHEET INFORMATION: 

• Will be posted/shared when available. You can download the Swimtopia App, and be up to date with the race information for your swimmer. You can also upgrade and have live updates during the meet.
